Between the course withdrawal deadline (first two weeks of the course) and the end of the 4^th week of a course, students may withdraw from a course without penalty of a failing grade by submitting a Q-drop request form, up to the maximum allowance for their program*.  The course will appear on student’s transcript with the designation of “Q” rather than a letter grade; the hours are not included in the calculation of student’s GPA.  A Q-drop is not eligible for a refund.
